Diplômé de l'ENSA Val-de-Seine qui s'oriente de plus en plus vers l'art et le design. Lauréat de multiples concours d'interventions sculpturales dans l'espace public, tels que Cadran Solaire Universel, Capsule de Temps, Wierszownik à Cracovie ou Eyepiece à Vancouver. Professionnellement associé au studio d'Oskar Zięta à Wrocław, où il conçoit des installations artistiques et supervise les activités créatives de l'entreprise. De plus, il travaille avec l'agence Elab, aidant de jeunes étudiants à préparer des candidatures pour des universités étrangères liées à l'architecture et au design.
Alek est persuadé qu'un projet de design commence toujours par une histoire bien racontée. Dans son travail, il combine l'architecture et l'art avec l'analyse des phénomènes physiques et des processus sociaux. En introduisant des éléments interactifs dans ses pièces, il tente de raccourcir la distance entre l'art et le public.
L’installation Caeloscope a été conçue grâce au support de la fondation polonaise IDEANOVA dont la mission principale est créer et de promouvoir l’art public ainsi et d'accompagner les jeunes créateurs dans leur parcours professionnel.
An architecture graduate of the ENSA Val-de-Seine that turns more and more into art and design. Multiple winner of competitions for sculptural interventions in public space, such as Universal Sundial, Time Capsule, Wierszownik in Kraków or Eyepiece in Vancouver. Professionally associated with the Oskar Zięta's studio in Wrocław, where he creates artistic installations and supervises the company's creative activities. In addition, he works with Elab agency, helping young students to prepare applications for foreign universities related to architecture and design.
Alek believes that a design project always starts with a well-told story. In his works, he combines architecture and art with the analysis of physical phenomena and social processes. By introducing interactive elements in his pieces, he tries to shorten the distance between art and its recipient
The Caeloscope installation was conceived thanks to the support of the Polish foundation IDEANOVA whose main mission is to create and promote public art as well as to accompany young creators in their professional career.

Rarement on lève la tête pour regarder le ciel. La ville obstrue les vues, les immeubles dominent le paysage, ne laissant que des étroits canaux du visible bleu. Cet éloignement avec le ciel s'est encore intensifié pendant le confinement. Beaucoup d’entre nous se sont retrouvés enfermés dans des petits appartements sans accès aux espaces ouverts. Pour certains, voir le ciel est devenu un effort, même un défi. Et se priver du ciel c’est oublier comment être libre
Le Caeloscope est un instrument qui vise à tourner à nouveau notre regard vers le haut, vers le ciel qui est toujours là mais qui est aussi toujours différent. Le ciel est l’essence de l’impermanence et son antithèse en même temps. Caeloscope permet d’examiner cette relation entre le constant et le variable avec la plus grande précision. Comment est-ce possible? L'appareil utilise un grand miroir en acier inoxydable qui reflète le moindre changement dans l'environnement. L'installation est interactive, il suffit de tourner le Céaloscope pour examiner le fragment souhaité de ciel.

Rarely do we lift our heads to look at the sky. The city obstructs the view, buildings dominate the landscape, leaving only narrow channels of the visible blue. This estrangement from the sky was further intensified during the recent confinement. Many of us have found ourselves locked in small apartments with no access to open space. For some, seeing the sky has become an effort, even a challenge. And to be deprived of the sky is to forget how to be free.
A Caeloscope is an instrument which aims to turn our gaze upwards again, towards the sky which is always there yet always different, an essence of impermanence and its antithesis at the same time. Caeloscope allows us to observe this relationship between the constant and the variable with the highest accuracy. How is it possible? The device uses a large stainless steel mirror that reflects the slightest change in the environment. The installation is interactive, just turn the Cealoscope to examine the desired fragment of the urban sky.
