VEINTICUATRO est une reinterpretation de la fontaine. Une boite baignée d’eau qui s’ouvre vers nous pour qu’on en fasse le tour ou qu’on y rentre. Une installation qui évoque la pluie, qui nous rappelle la joie de l’été, qui nous invite à rêver au son de l’eau. Mais l’oeuvre contient également une dimension qu’on ne peut voir au premier coup d’oeil: une chorégraphie dissimulée que l’on pourrait rater facilement. Celle-ci souligne l’idée d’une multitude de réalités simultanées et nous propose d’aller plus loin, au-delà de l’apparence pour rencontrer le subtile et rendre l’invisible visible à ceux qui le souhaite. Combien de choses arrivent au même moment? A quel point notre perception perçoit les détails et la profondeur de ce qui nous entoure? La technologie pourrait-elle être une extension de nos capacités humaines? Nous n’entendons rien et nous ne voyons rien mis à part le fait que nous pouvons. Enregistrez le moment et l’illusion sera dévoilée.

VEINTICUATRO is a reinterpretation of the sculptural water fountain. A box bathed by water that opens itself allowing us to go around or step inside. An installation that evokes the rain, reminds us of the joy of summer, invites us to daydream to the sound of water. But the piece also contains a layer that we can’t perceive at first sight: a hidden choreography that we might easily miss. In doing so, it emphasizes the idea of multiple simultaneous realities and proposes us to go deeper, beyond the apparent to experience the subtle and make the invisible visible to those who so wish. How many things are actually happening at the same time? How much does our perception determines the details and depths of our surroundings? And also, could technology be an actual expansion of our human capacities? We can’t hear and we can’t see, except for the fact that we can. Register the moment and the illusion will be unveiled.


Cette équipe est aussi éphémère que n’importe quelle perception mais elle est aussi éternelle. Le FAV a réveillé en eux un intérêt latent. Certains d’entre eux font les mêmes études, d’autres partagent un amour ou une ville mais ils ont tous une curiosité pour ce qui est et ce qui n’est pas. Car quand ces idées naissent, elles ouvrent un univers de nouvelles possibilités qui ont pourtant toujours été là, patientes. Quatre architectes et un ingénieur du son. Un photographe, un danseur du temps, un artisan d’images, une oreille éternelle, un forgeur de mots, un guerrier écologique, un musicien, un amour, un ami. Cinq personnes aussi multiples qu’indéfinissables comme chacun. Aujourd’hui ils sont cette installation: un espace vide attendant d’être rempli d’un son que nous ne pouvons entendre et de se mouiller d’une eau dansante que nous ne pouvons voir. Leur défi éternel est de se découvrir.

This team is as ephemeral as any perception and at the same time, it is timeless. FAV awaked in them a latent interest. Some of them share studies, some others share loves or even cities, but they all share a common curiosity for what is and at the same time it's not. For when these ideas come to life, they open a world of new possibilities that have always been there though, waiting. Four architects and one sound expert. A photographer, a time dancer, an image artist, an eternal listener, a word lover, an eco warrior, a musician, a lover, a friend. Five people who are as multiple as indefinable just like everyone else. Today they are this installation: an empty space waiting to be filled with sound that cannot be heard and to get wet by dancing water that cannot be seen.
Their eternal challenge is to discover themselves.
