Ce projet fait appel aux différents concepts que sont l’art, le land art et l’architecture. Il s’agit d’un jeu avec des bougies générant ombre et lumière non pas par leur allumage mais par leur propre couleur, allant du blanc au noir en passant par différentes nuances de gris. Les bougies, disposées sous l’unique lampadaire du lieu, représentent l’ombre et la lumière projetées au sol lors de l’éclairage de nuit de la cour.
Hôtel de Sarret astonishes us. A lamp, out of scale, attracts one’s attention due to the austerity of the courtyard. We want to revalue the main characteristic of the courtyard thanks to a land.art.scape.architecture that gets integrated with the austerity of the place. 15.000 tealights (a common, inexpensive and ephemeral candle encased in a thin metal container) to generate a shadow thanks to the different colours used. At the same time, all tealights are numbered in order to single out. During the last day, the visitors to the Hôtel de Sarret are allowed to collect a tealight. It is the way of spreading the land.art.scape.architecture all around the city and beyond.

En 2006, FAD (Fostering Arts and Design) reconnait Josep Muñoz i Pérez comme Jeune Architecte Emergeant. En 2008, L’Ecole d’Architecture de Catalogne lui décerne le prix du Jeune Architecte 2008. En tant qu’architecte, Josep Muñoz i Pérez recherche, participe, crée et expérimente différents champs architecturaux. Il est aujourd’hui installé en tant qu’agence jmp.land.art.scape.architecture. Ses travaux ont été reconnus, récompensés et publiés au niveau national et international.

His work has been awarded and published at national and international level.
