Etabli à Carouge, Allegory Studio mène une activité créative pluridisciplinaire dans les domaines de l'architecture, de l'architecture d'intérieur, du retail, du design, des installations et de la scénographie. Fondé par Albert Schrurs, d’abord en tant que collectif d’étudiants en Architecture, puis enregistré en tant que Sàrl à Genève, ce n’est qu’à partir de septembre 2011 qu’Allegory mène une activité à plein temps. En 2015, Allegory Studio rejoint le groupe international Centdegrés et devient Centdegrés Genève. Albert Schrurs est Architecte diplômé de l’EPFL, Designer diplômé de l’ECAL, et professeur d’atelier invité à l’HEAD de Genève. Avant de se consacrer à son activité, il acquiert une expérience professionnelle à l’international à Paris, Beijing et Tokyo, en travaillant comme Architecte pour Louis Vuitton, Shigeru Ban, Kengo Kuma ou encore Ma Yansong. Sa double formation lui vaut d’être à la fois attentif aux questions d’ordres spatiales et aux détails des objets.Equipe de projet: Albert Schrurs, Wendy Gaze, Jessica Terrapon
Based in Geneva, Allegory Studio conducts a multidisciplinary creative activity in the fields of architecture, interior design, retail, product design, artistic installations and scenography. Originally founded by Albert Schrurs as an architecture students partnership, then registered as a company in Geneva, Allegory has only been running a fulltime activity since September 2011. In 2015, Allegory Studio joins the international firm, Centdegrés Geneva. Albert Schrurs is an EPFL grad. Architect, an ECAL grad. MAS Luxury Designer, and a guest professor at Geneva’s HEAD. Before devoting himself to his activity, he acquired an international working experience in Tokyo, Beijing and Paris, where he worked as an Architect for Louis Vuitton and for several firms, including those of Shigeru Ban, Kengo Kuma and Ma Yansong. Being both an Architect and a Designer allows him to be both attentive to spatial orders and object details.

Le projet « Régate » s’ancre dans un espace-temps particulier, alliant l’éphémère au patrimoine architecturale du lieu. 100 bouées maritimes blanches, placées géométriquement au milieu des bateaux du Port de Plaisance de la Grande-Motte, viennent apporter un rythme visuel au paysage, en référence aux immeubles pyramidaux en béton de Balladur de gâteau pour le faire grandir ailleurs. En faisant de la bouée de balisage un objet en série, c’est évoquer un espace hors temps... La régate est-elle déjà passée ou est-elle à venir ? C’est aussi la célébration d’un départ et d’une arrivée, qui reflète l’anniversaire des 10 ans du FAV.
The « Regatta » project is rooted in a particular space-time, mixing the ephemeral look to the architectural heritage of the place. 100 white sea buoys, geometrically sited in the middle of the boats of the Marina of La Grande-Motte, bring a visual rhythm to the landscape with reference to pyramidal Balladur’s concrete buildings. Making the buoy as a serial object evoking a timeless space… The regatta is it already passed or is it coming? It is also the celebration of a start and a finish that reflects the anniversary of 10 years of FAV.
