Plateforme de recherches, d’échanges et d’expérimentations architecturales sur le monde, ses actualités et ses dysfonctionnements; 1 WEEK 1 PROJECT est un collectif, basé entre Paris et Santiago du Chili, crée par Axel de Stampa et Sylvain Macaux. Ils théorisent et mettent en pratique le concept d’Architecture Spontanée. Leurs projets théoriques en écho à l’actualité sont notamment remarqués : la Casa Futebol consiste à venir occuper les espaces vides des stades de la Coupe du Monde 2014 en réponse à la pénurie de logement au Brésil; le Qatar World Cup Memorial dénonce le nombre d’ouvriers décédés durant la construction des stades au Qatar; enfin la Panama Papers Jail - lauréat du prix German Design Award 2018 - pose la question des sanctions sur le scandale financier des Panama Papers. Pour le FAV, ils s'entourent de la plasticienne Valeria Tellez Niemeyer et de la styliste Natalia Fuentes.
Research platform, dynamic exchange instigator and experimental architecture collective, 1 WEEK 1 PROJECT seeks to both direct discussion towards, as well as respond to, worldwide instance of injustice and inequity - through creative design. Projects have included: Casa Futebol: intelligent dwellings, speaking to the lack of housing across Brazil’s most populous cities, through the repurposing of World Cup 2014 stadiums across the country. Qatari World Cup Memorial: a monument to the unnamed workers who lost their lives in the construction of World Cup 2020 stadiums across Qatar. Panama Papers Jail: winner of the 2018 German Design Awards, a repurposed shipping tanker, outfitted with paper derived cells, for the detention of convicted tax dodgers first identified in the landmark Panama Papers document trove. 1 WEEK 1 PROJECT was launched by Axel de Stampa and Sylvain Macaux. Nature Electrique est un labyrinthe interactif où le visiteur se perd dans un dispositif en bois tatoué d’une peinture électrique. Réaction sonore ou visuelle, la matière réagit au toucher, le bois se transforme ici en un véritable «pad sensible». Les interactions agissent comme des points de repère dans la «forêt» pour aider le visiteur à retrouver son chemin.
Attachés à nos objets connectés, nous accumulons tous les jours sans le savoir un certain nombre de données. Où vont toutes ces informations ? Comment se comporter face ce flux? Nature Electrique souhaite retranscrire cette peur du Big Data en perdant littéralement le visiteur.
L’interaction sonore portera sur la thématique de l’eau avec des enregistrements des océans Pacifique et Atlantique. Avec la peinture conductrice d’énergie, le projet se veut éducatif et démontrera au petit comme au grand que tout élément peut désormais devenir conducteur.
Nature Electrique is an interactive labyrinth where the visitor is lost in a wooden installation tattooed with electric paint. The material reacts to the touch with sound reaction, the wood is transformed here into a real "sensitive pad". The interactions act as landmarks in the "forest" helping the visitor to find his way.
Attached to our connected devices, we accumulate a certain amount of data every day. Where do all this information go? How to deal with it? Nature Electrique wants to show this fear of the Big Data by literally losing the visitor.
The sound interaction will focus on the theme of water with recordings from the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. With the electric paint, the project intends to be educational demonstrating that any element can now become conductive.
