YokYok est un atelier de création né à Paris. Composé de trois architectes, il s’agrandit à l’occasion de chaque projet et devient pluridisciplinaire. L’atelier YokYok met, au-delà des rêveries qui le nourrissent, une priorité pragmatique sur la faisabilité du projet qui enseigne le métier de constructeur. YokYok, comme le bricoleur, façonne un patrimoine d’expériences, et complète peu à peu sa boîte à outils. Ainsi, au fil des projets, il enrichit son potentiel créatif.
YokYok is a studio of creation born in Paris. It consists of three architects, and gets bigger on the occasion of every project and becomes multidisciplinary. L’éphémère et l’évènement réuni en un simple objet peut changer nos perceptions et ainsi transformer une visite banale en rencontre unique. Le Mur du mou composé de trois éléments ( le visiteur/installation/architecture) se retrouvent face à face, et se regardent d’un air curieux, une rencontre est en train de naître.. Le miroir déformant est utilisé pour "interagir entre l’architecture et l’homme", pour changer ses perceptions. C’est un objet architectural ou une scénographie qui aurait poussé au milieu de la cour, les miroirs déformants jouent avec le reflet des visiteurs et de l’architecture qui l’environne. Le "visiteur joue avec l’objet". On s’y voit devenu gros, devenu maigre, très grand ou tout petit! On voit aussi dans son dos une architecture déformée, fondue et dansante, qui bouge quand on bouge. Les voûtes deviennent de plus en plus obliques et gauchies. Les escaliers rayonnants deviennent tourbillonnants et les marches ondulent. Les "tabourets en bois", servant de support au miroir viennent se déploient et dialoguent avec la cour. "On devient fou l’espace d’un instant, on se perd dans un monde mou, on redevient enfant"
The ephemeral and the event joined together into a single object can change our perceptions and transform an ordinary visit to meet unique. The “Mur du mou” composed of three elements (visitor / installation / architecture) meet face to face, and look with curiosity, a meeting is being born... The distorting mirror is used to "interact with the architecture and a person", to change perceptions. It is an architectural object or a scenography that would have pushed in the middle of the courtyard, playing with the mirrors, reflecting the visitors and the architecture that surrounds it. The "visitor plays with the object." We‘re transforming, see becoming larger, thin, large or small! We also see her back in a distorted, dancing architecture that moves when you move. The vaults are becoming more and more oblique. The stairs become radiant swirling and swaying steps. The "wooden stools," serving as a support to the mirror just unfold and interact with the court. "It's going crazy for a moment, you get lost in a world of soft, we become a child."
