Des centaines de cerceaux investissent la cour : ils couvrent le sol, se rassemblent pour former une structure. Dans cette démarche, le cerceau constitue la plus petite entité qui définit un de-dans et un de-hors: on est «IN» ou on est «OUT». Après, par manipulation, par assemblage, par accumulation, la limite entre un dedans et un dehors devient poreuse. L’accumulation rend la perception plus incertaine et génère l’INSIDE OUT: le sans dessus dessous. Sur le sol, des cerceaux sont à la disposition du public pour faire du hula hoop. La structure peut se lire comme la pétrification de l’énergie déployée pour mettre en mouvement le cerceau autour de son corps. Avec cette installation, on passe du familier au singulier: cette stratégie du détournement s’intéresse à un objet générique connu de tous, et révèle le produit dans une autre logique.
