Si la sensualité est le plaisir des sens, l’architecture se veut être la création du plaisir du lieu. L’espace, la lumière, l’ombre, la résonnance sonore, la matière, les couleurs, l’air, procurent des sensations auxquelles nous ne sommes pas toujours sensibles. La sensualité est une notion subjective et peut se trouver la où ne l’attend pas. Pour cela, il faut observer, contempler, prendre le temps de voir, d’imaginer le toucher, la sensation fantasmée d’une matière. L’émotion comme seule interface entre les sens névralgiques du corps et les aspects physiques d’une construction. L’intervention propose au visiteur de s’arrêter, de plonger dans un temps de détente et de contemplation. Le sol, point d’observation naturel, devient une surface meuble dans laquelle on vient chercher sa position et créer ses conditions d’expérience sensuelle et sensorielle. Une nouvelle topographie drapée d’une matière ondulante, soyeuse, de manière à générer une situation d’apaisement. La sensualité prenant naissance dans un fantasme, cette installation propose les conditions d’une mise en relation intime avec le lieu.
If sensuality is the pleasure of the senses, architecture wants to be creating feeling’s place. Space, light, shadow, sound resonance, material, colors, air, provide sensation that we are not always sensitive. Sensuality is subjective and can not find where least expected. For this, we must observe, contemplate, and take the time to see, to imagine the touch, the fantastic feel of a material. Emotion as the only interface between the critical senses of the body and the physical aspects of a building.The intervention offers the visitor to stop, plunging into a time of relaxation and contemplation. Soil, natural observation point becomes a loose and deformable mattress in which they fetch its position and create the conditions for its sensual and sensory experience. A new topography draped in a wavy, silky material, to generate a situation of peace. Sensuality begin in a fantasy, this facility provides the conditions for bringing into intimate relationship with the place.
