Se basant sur le solide et le permanent, de l’hôtel particulier, le projet fait évoluer l’échelle de la cour pour l’adapter à l’univers des enfants. Ce matériau simple et mouvant vient mettre en exergue les nombreux détails de l’architecture existante. Cette architecture vive change totalement la perception de la cour par la superposition de pans transparents et colorés. Les visiteurs et le vent font bouger les fils, illustrant les mutation et mouvement désirés ; la curiosité des enfants aura un rôle important dans l’évolution de cette architecture éphémère.
Starting from the solid and permanent (the existing building), we intend to rescale the courtyard to the children universe, signalizing small details of the existing architecture, changing overall perception and creating layers of transparency, as shown on the image.The agitation of the plastic stripes, produced by visitor's movements or by the wind, will give the desired sense of mutation and movement, and children curiosity will have one important role on this lively architecture.

Basé à Lisbonne, au Portugal, ateliermob développe idées et projets d’architecture, design et urbanisme. L’équipe se compose de jeunes architectes et designers qui travaillent et étudient dans différents pays d’Europe. L’agence a été créée en 2005, après des années de travail en commun. ateliermob travaille pour les secteurs privés, publics à diverses échelles et programmes. Parallèlement l’agence développe un travail de recherche et d’enquête, gère un blog (qui a reçu le prix Best Portuguese Corporate Blog en 2007), et participe régulièrement à des concours nationaux et internationaux. Les projets d’ateliermob sont publiés dans des revues spécialisées et publications d’architecture au Portugal et à l’étranger. ateliermob a été mentionné en 2006 pour le concours international du Palais de Justice à paris, a reçu le 1er prix pour le Cimetière Moura en 2008. En 2007 ateliermob intègre le top 10 de New Portuguese Blond.

Its projects and work have been referenced in several Portuguese and international magazines/publications, and awarded with the honorable mention on the International Ideas Competition for the Paris Courthouse [2006], the 1st Prize on the International Competition to Develop Tagus’ River Banks [2007] and the 1st Prize on the Competition for the New Moura's Cemetery [2008].
