Reset Studio dont le nom évoque la volonté de renouveler l’ensemble du processus de création architecturale et de redéfinir les codes classiques de l’architecture en proposant de nouveaux modèles, est avant tout la rencontre de deux cultures, l’échange de deux générations, la confrontation de deux points de vue : Jae Young Choi, coréen de 40 ans, diplômé de Malaquais et Julien Thirion, parisien de 32 ans diplômé de Belleville. La méthodologie innovante de Jae Young associée à la conception révolutionnaire de Julien donne naissance à une agence portée par la même ambition : chaque projet constitue un concept unique tant sur le plan urbain, qu’environnemental, sociologique et culturel. Fruit d’une réflexion sur la matérialité du vide et l’architecture invisible, les projets de Reset Studio repensent les interactions sociales au cœur des bâtiments dont l’implantation se révèle à la fois harmonieuse et provocante sur les sites où ils sont conçus. Enfin, ils témoignent d’une politique environnementale forte et engagée.Telle la réinitialisation d’un appareil par le bouton « Reset », Reset Studio repense l’architecture de demain.
Reset Studio, whose name evokes the will to renew the entire process of architectural creation and to redefine the classic codes of the architecture by proposing new models, is above all the encounter of two cultures, the exchange between two generations and the coming together of two points of view: Jae Young Choi, Korean, 40 years old, graduate of the Ecole national superieure d'architecture de Paris Malaquais and Julien Thirion, 32 years old, graduate of Ecole national superieure d'architecture de Paris Belleville. The innovative methodology of Jae Young combined with the revolutionary conceptual design of Julien give rise to a architecture office motivated by a common vision: each project constitutes a unique concept on an urban, environmental, sociological and cultural level. Through the reflection of the spatial materiality and invisible architecture, the projects of Reset Studio are the results of rethinking the social interaction between buildings, the establishment of which occurs both in harmony with and provocation of the sites on which they are conceived. Finally, they are a testament to strong and committed environmental policy.As like reset through a push of a button, Reset Studio reithink the architecture of tomorrow.

Aux architectes elle fait appel
Pour transformer les cours particulières...
A l'hôtel de Rozel
24 fleurs ils ont fait pousser.
De bois et sens,
Le jardin de la sensualité ils ont crée.
De Montpellier il s’est nourrit,
De sa culture et de sa vie.
Même sa forme il a pris:
« La ville fondée entre 2 collines »
Ces fleurs de rares espèces,
À travers les sens elles vous apprennent,
Que dans une petite cour particulière
On peut contenir une ville entière.
La fleur du poivre vous pouvez toucher.
Celle du tramway vous l’entendez.
Une vous offre des grisettes.
L’autre de l’huile d’olive. «Vite votre nez!»
Et comme un colibri vous vous déplacerez.
D’une fleur à une autre vous irez.
Dans cette cours vous jouerez,
Avec vos cinq sens et Montpellier.
